Up to 35 tons per month

Crack up to 35 tons/month, replacing the work power of up to 20 people, who can be allocated to other areas of production, leading to savings of thousands of dollars.

Up to 75% butterfly kernel

Get greater control over the quality of your production, by using a computer guided hydraulics system to control the depth of cracking.

Wide range of walnut sizes

Break sizes 25mm–38mm (model 2M) and 27mm–50mm sizes (model 2MK), without the need of sorting them in advance. Save thousands of dollars from additional sorting machinery.

Optimal shell opening

Easier manual or automatic shell removal, facilitated by using specially designed cracking mallets. Allowing for even further time and investment savings.

With regards to successful breaking rate, it is very high, yet depends on walnut hardness. It can go up to 95%. And this with only a single person operating the machine. The next problem we are facing is removing the shell from the kernel.
Ye-Seong Choi, Dr. Hoodoo Ltd., South Korea

This machine is a very good choice for cracking with comparable quality to hand-cracked standard. We are now mixing the Optima system with our mechanical cleaning, to separate the significant quantity of shell from the kernels. Then we continue with hand cleaning line to finish the process.
